About Me

Jessica works in the fashion/tech world and lives and dresses in what some might call her own world. She enjoys color-blocking, denim-on-denim, sample sales, extreme sports, fur in all forms, leopard and spandex (and leopard spandex), tulle and tassels, alliteration, and run-on sentences. Her career highlights include most amazing Yeti impersonation and first person to run a marathon in Jimmy Choos. She also has a thing for the color purple…

A transplant from Dallas, Texas, Jessica launched I’ll Take That in Purple in 2011 as an outlet for her pent up snark, sarcasm, and obsession with socks with sandals.  In addition to blogging and battling a mild compulsive shopping addiction, Jessica runs marathons, has a debilitating condition called “chronically single,” and attends the occasional indie rock concert.  She has also mastered the art of talking about herself in the third person.
